A Toy That Both Kids And Parents Will EnjoyI bought the Caster Board for my twins on their birthday and they absolutely loved it. I have to admit that I didn't really know what it was when I got it--except that they've been bugging me for months to get one. I finally caved, and guess what? When I took it out of the box, I was absolutely terrified! My boys are just eight, and I wasn't sure if they could handle it. Pretty soon, however, they were zipping around the neighborhood with their friends, doing all sorts of tricks that almost gave me a mild heart attack. They've had a couple scrapes, but nothing that could potentially destroy their future. Besides, I bundled them up in helmet, knee pads, gloves, and elbow pads. When their mom carts them off to bed, I will admit that I do a couple of rounds down the block myself. It feels like you're floating and it's such an experience that I might just get one myself. My only gripe is that the wheels wear out pretty fast. In just a month, I've had to get a set of replacement wheels already. Other than that, the Ripstik appears to be made of strong stuff and can take years of abuse.
