One Day People Will Pay for Their Evil DoingsThis is a very dramatic, hard to watch movie for me. As a black person, I cried the first time that I watched it. It shows racism at its worst and the hatred that white people can show for other humans is beyond any understanding that I will ever be able to comprehend. We are all of the human race, only with different colored skin, different features, hair, cultures, and yet we are alike, in the manner that we all have the same desires of this world. This movie shows white people at their worst and I have so much sympathy and sadness at what these people had to go through.
I know that not all white people have prejudices, but there are enough who think that they are superior to blacks. I for one believe in God, a higher power, and I truly believe that one day people will pay for their evil doings. In the meantime, black people must never let something like this happen again. I'm not saying that the people in Rosewood let this happen, I'm saying that we as a race, must stick together to protect ourselves and keep something like this from happening again. It took until 1994 just to get the incident in the news, which just continues to show what an unjust world it is that we live in.
