Movie Review: Plan B with Jon Cryer, Claudia Carey, Nicole Chamberlaincategories: Movies & TV, Jon Cryer
A Real Review From Someone Who Isn't the Director's Mom or Dad!The writing and "humor" is straight out of a bad 1980s sitcom. The characters are incredibly clicheed. It's like a bad, over-long student film pretending to be a real movie. The lead performances are mostly decent (Lisa Darr, Lance Guest, Jon Cryer) but the story lines are ridiculous, some of the plot points hang on utterly illogical premises. The younger sister (Sara Mornell), who's supposed to be a sexpot, looks like a linebacker for the Green Bay Packers!
The director's parents and other relatives have peppered the internet with deceptive rave reviews of this movie, but it's most telling that neither the writing team nor the director have ever made another narrative feature in the DECADE since they made this. I'm embarrassed for the actors who were in this. I say this from my heart: please don't waste your time by watching it!
