What are They Waiting for?Perhaps the production people, like the anthropologists of the early 20th century think that this film, like the protagonists it portrays, will vanish into obscurity, never to be referenced again, other than in geographical names and sports teams. Can not a sane perspective of Native American life be viewable on technology that is currently available on the open market? Who has VHS players that function these days? At least a full 75% of films available on DVDs are barely marginally intelligent/entertaining. If Ethel Mermon can be resurrected in Lullaby on Broadway, why can't this jewel take its rightful place in the spectrum?
