Protein Supplement Review: Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standardcategories: Health, Bodybuilding, Protein Shake, Powder, Nutrition Drink, Whey Protein Isolates, Branched Chain Amino Acids, BCAA, Muscle Mass, Protein Supplement
Protein Supplement That Tastes Just Like DessertI've tried nearly all whey protein shakes in the market and nothing comes close to tasting like a real chocolate shake as Optimum Nutrition. I'm a big gym buff and I love working out. Everyone knows that a protein supplement helps build more muscle, but excuse me if I prefer mine to taste like dessert. All I do is add a banana, a ton of ice, and blend it an extra long time. The mixture comes out tasting just like a creamy, frothy chocolate shake and for a brief moment, I actually fool my body to thinking that it's my cheat day. The downside is that no matter how hard you try, there is still that distinct powdery aftertaste. Still, you only need to take a couple swigs of water before it's all gone. I hear a lot of people saying that they feel like Optimum changed their formulation. I don't know about them, but I've been drinking it a long time and it tastes just the same for me.
