Oatmeal Review: Steel Cut Irish Oatmeal by McCanncategories: Food, Irish Oatmeal, Natural, Breakfast, Cereal, Baking, Healthy Eating, Oatmeal
Brand: McCann's Irish Oatmeal
This is Some Great OatmealI've been eating oatmeal for most of my life and I usually buy it bulk or buy whatever happens to be on sale. I recently gave McCann's a try, however, and now I'm hooked. It's healthy, delicious and I love that it's completely unprocessed. When you look at the ingredients, the only thing listed is oats! Sadly, this is not the case with many of the brands I usually buy.
I've been eating McCann's every morning since I got my shipment and have already eaten my way through a 1pound canister. It's a great, healthy addition to cookies, scones and pancakes and tastes great cooked and served up in a bowl. I've been having fun experimenting with different flavors. So far, my favorite is maple syrup, orange zest and skim milk. The price seems a little steep at first, but it really isn't so bad when you consider that you're getting 4 pounds of oatmeal. I would definitely recommend this high quality product.
