Amanda Steelabout this book: Set three months from the end of "After the zombies" but can be read as a standalone book.
Grace and Luke thought they had found a safe place to wait out the zombie outbreak, but the government had other ideas.
They're thrown into the middle of the outbreak again. While Luke tries to help Grace to figure out a cure from her blood, Grace discovers being immune doesn't mean not being affected by the infection.
Fans of The Walking dead and Z Nation may enjoy reading this book.
I was inspired to write it from my love of all things Zombies and my interest in how the general population seem to fall apart and how people lose or struggle to hold onto their humanity in situations like this.
I really enjoyed writing this book, especially the gruesome bits. With editing, it took me just over six months to write, while working full time. It meant getting up at 5am to write before work, then squeezing in a few hours after work, as well as making notes on my phone during my lunch break and on the bus to/from work.
what to read next: if you read and liked this book...
