about this book: Kai's Journey is about a young man who's father created a disease that almost wiped out humaniy seven years ago. Now he is alone and has survived in the post apocalyptic world. He meets a young woman named Clover who also has a secret of her own. Together they set out on a journey that will take them across the upper parts of the United States and into Canada as they try to reach Butte, Montana where others of Clover's group are waiting for them.

We came up with the title by chance. It had a different title at the beginning but it really didnt' seem to fit. Kai's Journey seemed a better fit because Kai not only journey's around whats left of the United States but he also is on a personal journey as well.

Our primary readers are young adult and those who like to read young adult books as well.

Charlie is the creator of the story and also my son. We work together writing stories and working out the details of each character as well as the world they live in.
