Zanna Johnsabout this book: The idea for Doesn't Take a Crystal Ball came to me one night when I had trouble sleeping. It was several months before I started on the book because I had no interest in becoming a writer. Once I started writing, I discovered that I loved doing it. Still, it was slow going. I worked on the book for the past six years during my spare time.
Doesn't Take a Crystal Ball is humorous women's fiction. It is the story of Lizzie Chandler, a woman with an unusual psychic gift. She uses her gift to start a matchmaking business to earn some extra money and help lonely women find love. She soon learns that love is the last thing on her clients' minds. Lizzie's oddball clients constantly test her sanity. She has to deal with a kidnapped client, a cranky senior citizen picketing her business, and run ins with the law. Too bad she didn't check a crystal ball before hanging that "Open" sign!
