Book: The Old West, The New West, The Weird West - Twelve Stories Of The West by James L. Rickardcategories: Book, Old West, Modern West, Fantasy, Story Collection, Reflection, Justice, Hanging, Civil War, Line Riders, Billy the Kid, Hideout, Mines, Westerns
James L. Rickardabout this book: I was going through the "Document" files on my computer the other day and noticed I have a few short stories with a unifying theme--WESTERNS. Thought you may want to give them a gander because Westerns are a little more scarce than they used to be. As for TV forget it. When it comes to TV, it's easier to find a Western on Netflix than the networks.
Before I go off on a rant, there has always been more to the West than six-guns and stage robberies. Here are twelve stories from yesterday, the present, and the weirdness of the next dimension. I may have grown up watching "Gunsmoke" or "Have Gun, Will Travel" but I liked "No country for Old Men" and still watch "The Twilight Zone." Sit back, put your feet up, and relax with a cup of coffee, a beer, or shot of whiskey and enjoy these tales of the west.
