Book: A Western Story by John Blackcategories: Book, Cowboys, Indians, Gunfights, Frontier, Horses, Western
John Blackabout this book: A Western Story takes place in Wyoming, it's about a young lady, named Hannah Woods, who goes to boarding school, leaving behind her father and their ranch. Upon her return visit the following year, she finds her father killed, and the ranch in ruins. The small western town has little in the way of a lawman.
Warren Payne is a land baron, and he is quite interested in the Woods's property. His son does not seem to have the same interest and convictions his father holds.
A Stranger by the name of J.W. Shine shows up, leaving behind a troubled past from back east. Can he help? Will his past catch up to him?
I enjoyed learning and doing some research about the western days. I was moved about learning just how rough cowboys had it during a cattle drive. I do hope you all enjoy reading this book, as much as I enjoyed writing it. Thank you for taking an interest in my books
