Book: Texas Dreams 1 by Amy LeBlanccategories: Book, Christian, Historical Fiction, 1800's, Texas, Western Romance
Amy LeBlancabout this book: Texas Dreams is apart of me. I wrote this book after a car wreck that almost took my life. When times were really bad writing this book and being Rose was the only thing that kept me going. Some of the characters are real like Ma and Pa they were my grandparents that I miss daily. I did spend a lot of my youth with them and learned so much. No I am not an only child but it just worked for this book. I do Love Texas I am a Child of the Alamo and the Yellow Rose. I love Texas history and I have plans of moving to Kerrville so this book was my only escape after the wreck. I was able to travel back to my favorite period in time, own the ranch of my dreams and live in the Texas Hill Country. I had clean air, a persons word was as good as gold, everyone lived on the right or wrong side of the law,you stomped your on snakes. If you did wrong there consequences for your actions. No one was entitled you worked hard for what you had. Going to church was a good thing to do. Family took care of family. Morales and values meant something. Self respect meant something. The cover of the book has Texas bluebonnets and a Church. The bluebonnets are a symbol of Texas and my Love for this great state the Church is the glue the hold me together and when I go I feel as if I am going home to my Heavenly Fathers house.
