Adalynd LaVerneabout this book: A job, a violent loss of a friend and exposure to some of the dark parts of human beings can change a persons view. This book is about rape, murder and noir justice. It is pretty dark, slightly twisted and touches some pretty heavy subjects. It might make you angry, maybe scared, and hopefully lingers in your mind as you think. But, it also may touch a part of your mind where you, just might, agree with what happens.
Human nature is complicated and sometimes the "right thing" may not be the best thing. I wrote this book pulling from my love of the unsolvable equation that is people, and the experiences that I have had with them. Readers have called my book "Compelling and frightening," "Riveting," and "Feeling all the feels." It is just a story, but hopefully one that you spend an afternoon loosing yourself in. So, please, take a moment, curl up on your couch and enjoy my book.
