• Inspiration behind the writing
Traditionally I had always been a lover of historical romance and read such authors as Virginia Henley and Susan Jonhson. Later I went on to appreciate the works of Sandra Brown a contemporary romance and suspense author.
Around the end of 2011, I was convinced by a friend that I should consider breaking into the paranormal romance genre and after a bit of hesitation I did. Immediately into reading my very first book by author Kresley Cole I was hooked. I then thought that it would be great to write a paranormal erotic romance of my own. After reading several other authors in the genre and taking some time to engage into necessary research my first book was born.
• Primary readers of my book
Most people who read and would be interested in reading my book are those readers who are huge lovers of the paranormal romance genre and maybe contemporary romance in general.
• The title
I decided on the title of the book after writing the prologue and first chapter as I thought it was very fitting for the nature and content of the story. When I first came with the concept of the story, I had no idea of what the title would be but as I started to put the words down the idea suddenly came to me and I knew that's what my book would be named.
• The cover
At first I had a totally different concept for the cover in mind but then I decided to go with a look that would tell the story just by looking at the image on the cover and I believe that it does just that.
• What was the hardest part of writing your book?
The hardest part of writing the book for me came with writing the characters. The plot was fairly easy to flesh out but the characters I found difficult because I wanted to provide vivid descriptions of them so the readers would have a clear picture in their mind of who they were; not only just a physical description but I wanted the characters to be believable and stay true to who they were.
• Did you learn anything from writing your book and what was it?
Throughout writing this book I learned that consistency was crucial, when I say consistency I mean that I wanted my story line to be clear, concise and flowing. I also did not want my characters contradicting themselves and doing things that didn't seem to fit with their personalities.
• Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers?
I had a wonderful time writing Alessandra's and Caelian's story and I truly hope you enjoy reading it just as much. This is Book 1 in the Series The Realm of Darkness and you can look out for Book 2 in the near future.

Very Good ReadThis book was captivating from start to finish. I really enjoyed the historical element of it and the fact that it was set in France and England. The book was well written and I found myself unable to stop reading as I got further into the story. Lots of romance accompanied with action scenarios as well. I'm looking forward to reading Book 2 in the series and would definitely read more from this author. [by Tara]
