Vanessa A. Ryanabout this book: A BLUE MOON is horror novel, told with macabre humor. It's a little like FARGO, the movie, with a paranormal twist. As heroine Lorrie Duncan learns, be careful what you wish for, because it just might come true. A BLUE MOON is about when bad things happen to good people and what they can do about it. When a fortuneteller gives Lorrie a "magic medallion" for good luck she thinks that's not much in return for getting bilked out of fifty dollars for a phony fortunetelling reading. Lorrie's good luck is supposed to start on Halloween, the first night of the blue moon. Little does she know her life is about to turn inside out. And that getting rid of the medallion won't be easy.
Readers of sweet romances should not venture here. It's strictly PG-17 to R rated for adult situations.
