Author Mark Comstockabout this book: "Drowned Beneath a Bleeding Sky" is a novel. It focuses on the main character, Roger. Writing a synopsis for the book is difficult because there are many things I don't want to reveal and much I don't want to say but I will attempt to give some sort of picture of what the book is like. Roger lives in a dingy, run down area and it is a place he never wants to be, where all he can ever see is the blight. His life is an empty, dismal monotonous crawl and he drinks the days away, only ever wanting them to be done. One night, he meets a very mysterious woman. That's where things get bizarre. Roger cannot determine if the woman is actually real or if he was only imagining the encounter. From there, events become ever more extraordinary and absurd where reality unravels and Roger can no longer say what is true. He tries to make sense of it all but with every step, he feels himself becoming lost somewhere deeper within his own mind, What is real and what is not? What is the truth? What is to be believed? Those certainly are questions indeed.

The cover is a paining I did somewhat recently. It was not created as the cover for the book but when the writing of the book took shape, I immediately knew the painting would be the cover I would use.

The book was just published on September 15th and is currently $0.99 at Amazon and is also available with Kindleunlimited.
