Book Reviews: A Cold Case by Philip Gourevitchcategories: Book, Frank Koehler, Andy Rosenzweig, Hell's Kitchen, Mob, True Crime
Author: Philip Gourevitch
Father of a CopI thought the book was OK. It told how police departments really work. Policemen like my son always have less than seconds to decide to shoot or not. So is Frankie still alive, in prison, or what?
Family Member ReviewI thought the Book could have used a little more substance, if the Author would have dug a little deeper into who Frankie Koehler really was, his childhood, family stories etc... it would have been a little more interesting. Frankie and my Mother were very close, 1st Cousins, they have lost contact over the years. She has many great stories of when she was a kid, how he would protect her, how she could walk into Hell's Kitchen without anyone hassling her, because Frankie was Family. We should write our own Book.
