L. J. Forsterabout this book: A kareoke singing assassin, a dowdy secretary-cum-dominatrix and a vigilante Italian chef with failed dreams of being a policeman are just some of the characters that have earned this novel praise such as ' A breath of fresh air in the thriller genre', and 'A solid and original thriller'.
Layle Rae Bryce is a woman haunted by the death of her two young sons in a car accident. Addicted to tranquillisers and alcohol, her only release is through the vicious murders she commits as an employee of a sinister murder-to-order agency.
This is an adult novel, with scenes of violence, a smattering of dark humour, and distressing flashbacks to a time of child abuse.
The cover was designed by a pupil from the Lanzarote school of bellas artes where my neighbour is the vice-principal.
Apart from Amazon and Kindle, I also sell my books through the local English bookshops on the island and give copies to the animal charities to sell at their fundraisers.
What would I say to my readers? 'Enjoy'.
