about this book: This is my first foray into the suspense genre and I'm very pleased with the result. I wanted a hero who is an ordinary person thrust into extraordinarily difficult circumstances. I wanted him to remain ordinary throughout his ordeal, dealing with his situation the best way he can. In the Vanishing Wife, mild-mannered accountant, Mason Seaforth, is forced to exchange his spreadsheets for a Glock when his wife Sami disappears the night of their 20th wedding anniversary. He is the ordinary man dealing with a horrible situation. A recent review states, "I truly believed his transition from mild-mannered accountant to husband and father protecting his family." I was also fortunate enough to receive some great advice from three real-life detectives so I believe the technical aspects of the book to be realistic as well. Writing the book has been a great journey and is one I wish to repeat. I was especially heartened by one other reviewer who stated, "The Vanishing Wife is "fantastic - a page turner!"
