Aaron Aaronson about this book: This short novel follows the character Nihil as he travels through life. He wanders through the absurdity as his steps lead him into situations ever bizarre and more surreal. Along the way he must also contend with a recurring Nemesis who seeks to thwart his every move. He really doesn't even try to make sense of it all, that is if sense could even be made. But the book is just Nihil taking his steps, the life he wanders through forever a wasteland, the scenes just postcards along the way. The book is a somewhat dark comedy. Postcards is actually a fitting word for the presentation of the book as, for the most part, the events presented are separate, individual events unto themselves and not connected to each other. The book would be good for someone who wants to read a little here and there and not have to worry about remembering the plot or other details that would make other books necessary to be read straight through or else when rejoining them you struggle to remember what has transpired and are lost so you have to start again. The cover was a drawing I did that I felt suited the tone and title of the book.
