Book: Relatively Strange - A Roller-Coaster Of A Psi-Fi Thriller (Strange Series Book 1) by Marilyn Messik
categories: Book, Telepathy, ESP, London 1950s-70s, Medical Experimentation, Great Dane, Suspense, Psi-Fi Thriller, SuperpowersMarilyn Messik

The first version of the book was awfully long - could have been the lovechild of War and Peace and Gone with the Wind, so I did a fair old bit of judicious editing to get it to a respectable size and sent it off to a few agents. Three came back to me with interest. Problem was one wanted it changed one way, another wanted it changed a different way and the third – well you've got the picture. Being a stroppy-minded individual, (and yes, there may be a bit of me in Stella) I decided to plunge in on my own, as an independent author.
Since then I've been so pleased by all the readers who've taken to Stella to their hearts and have been tempted to rush round and hug each and every one. I've been told though, this is not advisable as it might be viewed as stalking. Instead I'm channeling all that enthusiasm into the next two books in the series. I love it when my readers get in touch – so please don't hold back and I promise, no sudden hugs!
Review: "Like Stephen King but funnier."
