The Rising is for those who enjoy sci-fi/fantasy and YA, and will appeal to lovers of X-men, Percy Jackson, superheroes of all kinds, and other works similar in nature.

A quick blurb: When a horrific car accident mysteriously leads to powers of mindreading and telepathy, thereby thrusting him into the world of Supernaturals, Ethan must put a stop to a tyrannical leader's treacherous schemes, or else it may cost him and his newfound companions their lives—if his ever-increasing lack of control doesn't do the job first.

After years of hearing "you're such a great writer" I decided to give writing a book a shot. I threw together a quick idea, and before I knew it, it had spun into a plot-line for an entire novel, and even more perplexing, a series. I thoroughly enjoyed sculpting my ideas into the book that's available today, and I can't wait to finish the series. It's been a blast.

I believe the cover gives a great illustration as to what to expect in this book: epic battles. The cover really helps bring the scene to life, and I hope it helps the reader immerse themselves in the story and be able to picture it as I tried to write it.
