Author Michelle Renee Youngabout this book: Aspen and Lori Wolfe are on a mission with Keagan Myrack to save the slaves in England and return them to their dimension in the novel Gear Heart, the romance, espionage, adventure series that will leave readers starry-eyed and on the edge of their seats.

Gear Heart started as a dream in high school, but I did not start writing it until a year later in my freshman summer of college. After ten pages I put it down and didn't write again until my senior year in college where I finished the book. My first year out of college, I published the book at 23 years old. It all began with a dream, and now I'm making my dreams a reality as an author and an artist thanks to God giving me Gear Heart.

I will say this for my readers and those who are willing to listen. I was diagnosed as a child with two learning disabilities: dysgraphia, and ADHD. I grew up hating writing because of essays, tests, homework, anything that was an assignment for school because I was so much slower than the other kids. I had to give 150% daily to keep up. I even joked to myself one day "just watch I'll become a writer one day.". Now I'm laughing at my younger self due to the irony. But I learned that if I am to write, I need to do it for myself and the enjoyment of others. If anyone who reads this has disabilities of any kind and thinks they can't do something. Don't believe that, try doing things in a new way. Look at it from a different angle and make it fun or interesting. Are you really going to be the thing that stops yourself from making something the world will marvel at? Gear Heart touches on this topic in many ways and I hope my readers will be reminded of that when they dive in.
