about this book: It didn't start out to be a book.

You see, I make wire-wrapped jewelry with natural stones known as healing crystals. To add variety to my Rockin' Crystals booth at craft fairs, I bought other crystal-related items for resale. Angels carved from semiprecious gemstones proved to be popular, so I bought a large variety.

At the end of March I decide to post one picture a day of a crystal angel on my Rockin' Crystals Facebook page. I called it "Today's Crystal Angel" and gave the stone's name to help people learn different crystals.

After a few days, I decided that these angels would work in a book of affirmations. As I prepared and posted pictures for my daily angel Facebook post, I was working on this book. The photo's settings became more detailed as I progressed. Sometimes I took 40 pictures to get the one shot that was book-worthy.

To keep it short enough to be memorable, each angel's affirmation is one sentence long and relates to the stone's healing properties. The book has 22 angels.

Of the Rockin' Crystal Facebook likes, the angelite angel beat amethyst by one vote and rose quartz by two votes. It will be interesting to see which angel you like the best.

This book is available in paperback and as a Kindle e-book. Using a Kindle/app with color capabilities is highly recommended because each stone's color is part of its identity.
