Constance Mastersabout this book: An Unexpected Wife is a romance but it's also a story about family. It's about Sage and her two younger siblings and how they cope after their parents sudden death. Cliff runs the ranch next door, he feels for Sage and wants to help.
Sage's parents' will, brings terrible surprises. The only way that Sage can gain custody of her siblings is to get married or wait until she turns thirty. Cliff asks Sage enter into a rent-try-buy marriage. They have also left the ranch in terrible debt. He agrees to a marriage of convenience to start but doesn't want to discount making the marriage real at some point.
Sage is under a lot of pressure isn't easy to deal with but Cliff has his own way of bringing order. Will Sage ever be ready to make a life time commitment to Cliff and accept his love and discipline?
I had fun writing this book. Spanking romance is really what I love to read and what I love to write. Although there are spanking scenes in this book, I feel, well I hope people will enjoy the story itself. When I read a story, I like the spanking to be part of the story not the story to be about the spanking.
Life is like a roller coaster, it goes up and down, good times, bad times, fun, love and laughter. That's where the thrill is for me. It's not one part, it's all of it.
