about this book: Armageddon Unleashed sees the protagonists of the Universe in Flames book saga in a really tough spot. They've lost their friend Spiros and now it looks like Cedric, whose body has been invaded by the evil Gaia 2 AI, is also toast.

Chase decides he's not going to give in to Gaia 2's demand that he and the Earth Alliance keep away from Earth. That would mean Gaia 2 would rule unchecked and could not only enslave mankind but also decide to expand throughout the universe. So they embark on a perilous mission, in a gamble that will either see the end of the Artificial Intelligence or the fall of the Alliance and the end of all hope.

With the help of the rescued Asgardians Kvasir, as well as the backup of the first Alliance Fleet, once thought destroyed, Chase attacks Gaia 2 full front and enters inside the virtual reality world of her AI Matrix, effectively putting himself at her mercy.

Meanwhile Oryn plans her ascension to the throne of the Furies with a new tech she has been working on, but all doesn't go as planned and she must soon fight for her own survival when her own creation turns against her.

This is one battle the Earth Alliance can't lose.

The cover of this book was made using a new technique, which is all inside Photoshop, even the 3D elements. I'm really happy with the result as the lights sources and overall tone of the image is more consistent than when I used separate programs. The workflow was more enjoyable as well.
