Wendy and Charles Siefkenabout this book: This is a short story about a man who has lived his entire life using everything to help himself. For the animals, if they don't perfom they don't eat. Same with the performers in the circus.
Children are often told of the curse of the red eyed witch who watches over circus people and the animals who travel with them. If she finds you not caring for them as you should, she would curse you.
It came to Charlie in a dream. He thought it would make a great short story to enter into a contest. It took about two days to write it and submit it. We had a hard time keeping it within the word limitation but he did it. We found a person who does book covers for us and he was able to make the cover that we thought would fit it pretty well. We just want to say thank you to all who read the short story and we hope you enjoy it!
