Book: Machines by Eric Drouantcategories: Book, Fiction, Machines, Stories, Short Story
Eric Drouantabout this book: "Machines" involves an idea I had that began with an old man lying in a bed. That was the only picture I had when I began. As the story unfolded it was revealed to me in pieces. Where it came from exactly, I don't know. This man has a unique way of looking at things and as the story moves along his motivations and thoughts are revealed. I found it enjoyable to write, as it was unplanned and unscripted, one of those times when you just find things you didn't know were there.
Eric Drouant is the author of several short stories, including "Something About 5B", "Corners", and "Revenge, Redemption, and the Blueberry Douchebag". His short stories are prep work for a longer book planned for later in 2013. His work also includes plenty of commercial writing for various websites, and a short sting in the newspaper arena as a sports writer. His complete collection is available for downloads at Amazon.
