Book: Different eyes by Des Birchcategories: Book, Feelgood Stories, Nighttime Reading, Anthologies, Folk Tales, Short Stories
Des Birchabout this book: This is a collection of stories I have written over the years. They are diverse and eclectic, with a narrative thread to make sure the reader is not abandoned.
There are Christmas stories which give a different slope on the traditional reindeer and sleigh bells.
Some stories have a bit of a twist in them, making them stick in your mind longer. Some are just plain funny; some touching but all written through the eyes of different people.
Over the years I have (as most people do) changed the way I look at things as well as my views of the world. I have been many people and when I was selecting which stories to include, I was reminded of many events in my past. I found this very surprising, but if you get the chance to read something you have written in your younger life, you might see what I mean.
So why not take a chance? You might really enjoy it. Just tuck up in bed with this book and have sweet dreams.
