Daniel Allen DuBourabout this book: Orieonis is a science fiction book about the inhabitance of a planet in the constellation of Orion. I named the planet Orieon. The inhabitants of the planet are "little people" who live their lives as vegetarians and thrive of the produce of the land. They have fields of grape vines and enjoy the fruit for eating and making wine.
There is mystery about the planet and the innovations of its people. The planet itself is very much like earth producing its own oxygen from the abundant plant life. The story revolves around one family in particular however involves its residence.
The planet is visited by astronauts from the planet earth who persuade some of its residence to go with them to visit earth; the beginning of an adventure of the few Orieonis who volunteer to go with the earthlings.
The book inspired me by a report seen on the news that scientists have found that life in the constellation of Orion could be possible.
