Timothy Trimbleabout this book: I've been an established writer in the high tech non-fiction industry for awhile. However I've always wanted to be published as a science fiction writer. Zegin's Infection is my first release. While this is what I call a lengthy short story, it is the first in a series of Zegin's Adventures stories.
Zegin is a starship troubleshooter who just wants to do his job. Because of his expertise he ends up getting caught up in various situations that have the potential for affecting the entire star system. He's kind of a futuristic McGuyver.
Personally, I've been involved with computer programming and networking for many years. Zegin came about while pondering what it would be like to do my job a couple hundred years in the future.
I wanted to make this first release as high quality as possible. I hired Dr. Debra Doyle to do the editing and Sean Hill to do the cover art. And to add a little more value to the book I included a teaser to the next story, "Zegin's Abduction", and a short story I contributed to the Edmonds Writer's Conference called "Jezi's Delima".
I write about the process of publishing this story, my marketing, my struggle, and the results on my web site at www.timothytrimble.com
Anyone who's into technical science fiction or computers should enjoy it.
Thanks for looking.
