Tom Robsonabout this book: I have always wanted to be an author, ever since I was a very small kid, but this is the first piece that I managed to see right through to the end. I was inspired partially by my 3rd year Science Fiction module and partially by my desire to create something new and interesting. To me Science Fiction is not a genre, but a framework of rules and setting inside which you build a thriller or an action/adventure or a romance. I wanted to write a dark story about ancient controversies and shady criminal organisations led by a psychological damaged anti-hero, and by building that inside of a Science Fiction setting I think I've avoided many of the clichés.
'Regarding Mikhail' is the first in a 9 part series entitled 'The Authority of Stars', each volume of which will follow a different character and a different story, though the tales coincide chronologically and often intertwine.
To future readers and potential fans, thank you in advance for picking my story from the ocean of great Sci-Fi that can be found on the kindle store, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
