Tom Robsonabout this book: 'Lioness' is a world away (literally) from 'Regarding Mikhail', introducing a new and vastly different protagonist who follows a vastly different story in a vastly different part of the Authority. I was heavily inspired by several fantasy works which I was reading at the time, and so the setting is very 'low tech' in comparison. 'Lioness' is a dark, almost dystopian story, examining war, lawlessness, tyranny and hopelessness, but at the same time a cast of likeable and optimistic characters cut through the gloom and create a small island of hope.
'Lioness' is the second in a 9 part series entitled 'The Authority of Stars', each volume of which will follow a different character and a different story, though the tales coincide chronologically and often intertwine.
To future readers and potential fans, thank you in advance for picking my story from the ocean of great Sci-Fi that can be found on the kindle store, and I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
