Connor's Gambit is a fun book that takes the reader on a wild ride based on the premise of an ordinary person placed into an extraordinary environment where his ordinary experiences gives him the advantages.
The book can be read from ages 13/14 to Adult. In fact a few of the reviews have commented on the "cleanliness" of the book.
The book took 4 years to write because I have a full time job, and I need approval as a government employee that I wasn't writing any secrets. All the science in the book is based on theories and exploration of ideas already discussed.
"Connor's Gambit" was a title that just popped into my head as I was working on it.
Connor's Gambit's book cover was created by Susan Lennon, a graphic artist, who was able to digitally paint a scene that a character would see towards the end of the book. I love the cover because it gives the reader the sense of 'what if' they were living the story. I frequently ask people to please judge the book by its cover.
You may have noticed a few unusual tags related to my book. Those items have a small part in my book. While we may be awed by an advance society visiting Earth, I also believe they will be equally impressed and charmed with our quaint civilization.
