Alex Bobrovabout this book: The Beast is a psychological and philosophical mind-bending thriller in which multiple personalities from parallel worlds merge together in one body. It's a collection of stories about the Assassin, the Gladiator, the Pervert and the Ordinary Man where they use their past experiences to deal with present events. Can they figure out what happened to them? Can they escape the bounds of one's body?
This novel neither shows nor teaches people how to act—it does just the opposite. It makes clear what happens to those who transgress the invisible bounds of human morality. You may find some of the episodes in the book distasteful— still, though they may make you cringe, there is truth in them all. As you near the end, however, your attitude may change for the better, and you may find the characters becoming more likable and sympathetic.
Overall, it's a novel about redemption that teaches that no matter how low one has fallen, there's always a way to go up. All you have to do is fight till the end and don't give up.
