Book: Mostly Human - A 4Pollack novel by Lon Edward Varnadorecategories: Book, Science Fiction, Mystery, Thriller, Clones, Sci-Fi Noir
Lon Edward Varnadoreabout this book: Mostly Human is a sci-fi noir set on Mars. I have had this book brewing in me since 2007 when I was in UCR working on my MFA. I was inspired by another writer who had a little one-page piece of a story about a clone with a disease. It sparked my own interests and soon I was crafting my own novel. I soon realized I had a more noir based story and kept it going from there. It touches on subjects of cloning and DNA splicing and living on Mars. I have had two covers for this novel. The first one was generated by another site that I loved, yet I realized when I put it up on Amazon, it wasn't the best. So, I found a new designer, while working on the second book in the series, and she blew me away with book covers. I bought two of them, used the first one for Mostly Human, and the next one for the sequel, Cryo. The title came from the main character, 4Pollack, realizing that he isn't completely human, that to those around him, he is seen as something close to, but not wholly human.
