Book: The importance of being Egret - “Something to tweet about” (Odd Reads Book 25) by B Pepinesqcategories: Book, Contemporary, Literary, Short Story, Humor, Pépinesque, Satire
B Pepinesqabout this book: 'The importance of being Egret' (published August 8th 2018) is part of the 'Odd Reads' for busy people series.
I say 'Odd Reads' because these stories are known to be curious, off-beat, singular to zany, sometimes a challenge and often a surprisingly great read. I qualify Odd Reads as being 'for busy people' as they are short stories, and by short I mean short enough to be generally classed as under 30 min reading time. Which is surely time enough for 'busy people.'
'The importance of being Egret' is a short story which certainly belongs in the category of being curious, off-beat, singular to zany.
As for being a challenge, I don't believe in this case, even if you know little about the world of birds and Egrets that you will find the story challenging. So not necessarily a story for the ornithologist; simply an entertaining and surprising read. Although if you know about the Egret, your appreciation of the analogy will certainly provide you with an entertaining and surprising 'great' read.
Oh yes, before I forget as part of a series; Odd Reads is a 'cherry picking' series so there is no need to read them in any particular order.
'Simply have an excellent read and enjoy'
