Pat Whiteabout this book: A Wife Without Love
To be more accessible to clients, entrepreneur A.J. Remington decides he needs a wife, but love cannot be a part of the equation. Having been brutally hurt in the past, he doesn't trust his own instincts and refuses to be crushed like that a second time. A.J. has resigned himself to a life without love.
Katy Walsh, A.J.'s personal chef, understands his dilemma—she's experienced her share of heartbreak thanks to a failed marriage, and is determined to avoid stepping into that pothole again, thank-you-very-much. But when Katy offers to help him find the perfect wife, an unexpected attraction grows between them. Will either of them take another chance on love as they work on… The Wife Project?
Author Note — Why this story?
What's more fun than a friends-to-lovers romance? I mean seriously! These are my all-time favorite stories to tell. It's about enjoying someone's company and not realizing they are the perfect jelly to your peanut butter sandwich! I also enjoy writing about flawed, yet brave characters that learn to overcome fear. In this case, overcoming their fear allows Katy and A.J. to fall in love!
