Roseanne Dowellabout this book: Lake Effect snowstorms are nothing new on the shores of Lake Erie. They can pop up anytime. For Jordan Blake, the early lake effect storm in October changed her life forever. So much for planning a quiet weekend writing. Instead she spent it with a man who washed up on her shore. Who was this man? Where did he come from? Trouble was, he couldn't answer those questions.
Formerly publsihed as Stranger on the Shore, I revised and republished this book with Books We Love Publishing in October. I live near Lake Erie and we're often subjected to the Lake Effect snow storms often dropping anywhere from six inches to a foot of snow. I often wondered what it would be like to live right on the lake during one of these storms. I can imagine the waves crashing on the rocks with fierce abandon, claiming anyone in their path. During one of these snowstorms and idea started to take shape, building in my mind until Stranger on the Shore, now Love on the Rocks was born.
I normally say that the more detail I can get about a character, the better. This book, however, proved me wrong. Who would have thought that a man with no name and no history could be so incredibly attractive, or a single night spent with a stranger could be so memorable? 5.0 out of 5 stars Suzie Housley, Romance Junkies Book Review
