Genevieve Deweyabout this book: After writing The Bird Day Battalion as a thank you to all my wonderful readers, the one thing I heard most often was: Are you going to write more Dom & Kate? How could I possibly say no to such enthusiasm? So for Valentine's Day, I wrote The V-Day Aversion, which finds Dominic wanting Katelyn to move in with him and wanting to use the lover's holiday to ask her. The trouble is, Katelyn really hates Valentine's Day.
I had always pictured Dom & Kate leading a fairly normal (you can read that as boring if you like) midwest life after Bird Day, but when I sat down to write The V-Day Aversion I realized that would never happen. There is no such thing as boring in the Anderson family (and the Valentinis are no slouches in the drama category themselves)! The Anderson family, like the Downey family from my other books, are a quirky, close knit family fond of shenanigans. I love writing the shenanigans. ;P
I hope you enjoy a second dose of Dom & Kate!
