about this book: This book contains short stories about every day experiences through which life lessons can be learned. Everythingis God's (the Divine Teacher) so He can use anything to show us things we can use in our everyday lives. The title was inspired by hearing that most accidents happen within 5 miles of home and I thought it appropriate because the things that throw us off track are most often the people and things closest to us. We all walk the life road and we can learn to see God's hand in everything if we'll take the time to look. Times of great sadness can birth nuggets of comfort and glimpses of The Almighty. He's taught me the sweetest life-lessons through the simplest things and I wanted to share them with you. The book was inspired by the complexity of "religion". I wanted to convey the "simpleness" of the personal love God has for each of us. I've been through some stuff in my life and in the most trying times the Lord hain s been sweet to show Himself faithful regardless of the circumstance.
