Elaine Angelus Kehlerabout this book: My sisters and I, although born in the US, grew up in a house where English was not the primary language. The concept for "Masked Desire" came from a game my older sister and I would play on occasion. When in our twenties, many years ago, we would go clubbing and my older sister would pretend she did not understand English. She would bring the guy she met over to me and I would ask him what he said to her. Then she would tell me what he really said. The results were often hysterical and sometimes quite embarrassing.
I took the concept a bit further and wondered what would happen if our heroine pretended to be someone completely different. She could plan and fantasize exactly how the night would unfold. A fantasy can be perfect… reality is never perfect. Reality is unpredictable and often messy.
If you enjoy Regency Era romances with some spice and a few plot twists, you will love "Masked Desire". Our heroine is strong willed and headstrong. There is more to our hero than just a great body. Read this book and get swept up into a world of long kept secrets, misconceptions, and where the villain is not the only danger.
