Book: DELUGE, one mans journey toward redemption in the midst of turmoil by Peter Red

about this book: There are few absolutes in the universe. Deluge is a story of David Bell, an entrepreneur who loses almost everything. He takes an audit assignment on an oil rig off the shore of Mumbai, India and finds himself in the midst of the worst floods in Mumbai's history. The idea of Deluge was born just after the 2006 floods. I spent them cocooned on the 11th floor of a building in one of the suburbs of Mumbai. I had no idea what was happening since there was no power and my smart phone was not connected to the Internet at that time. When I learnt what had happened, I decided to write a story around it.
I have read much about entrepreneurship. One of my favorite places for Entrepreneur stories is the business life column of the Financial Times. I admire the way entrepreneurs bounce back and feel there is much to learn from them. That column taught me that entrepreneurs are ordinary people who, many times just "do it" and take things from there.
Finally, I am a believer in transformational experiences and critical thinking. You can initiate change but sometimes, change takes you along and it is up to you to learn from the experience. Read on and find out how David Bell does!
