Saphala Johnabout this book: My name is Saphala John, 12 years old, and the content of this book was written while I was in my 5th grade. My 5th grade teacher encouraged the whole class in writing skills. I tried to give a decent effort during that year and created a scrap book that consisted of many things such as small passages, book reviews, poem writings etc. Surprisingly end of the year it came out to be a beautiful book and a lot of people around me , my family my class teachers etc, praised my effort. Then my dad who is a great supporter of helping kids to reach their potential suggested this idea of compiling it into a small Ebook as he had heard of Amazon KDP program. So he did the research of getting the process of publishing it in Amazon KDP and helped me to crate this version of the book.
I am just an average person and My "About the Author" shows that. I do believe every kid has a talent for writing, but may be they are not trying. If I can do this , I assume, it inspires other kids to publish their own book. Publishing is a great sense of accomplishment.
The title comes from combining the words Prose + Poems as the book is a collection of both. The cover page is chosen to show that every kid has pebbles of knowledge in them. It is a matter of refining it and making it shine better. My dad helped me to choose the cover page .
The hardest part in writing is in combining the subject of the poem with words that rhymes.
The learning part is that, you have to put your focus in order produce that is appealing to the reader.
My message to the reader is to get as much experience as you can in various facets of activities. It could be as simple as doing regular house-hold chores, but get out of that lazy couch.
