Brenda Beausoleilabout this book: This is a book that starts with two kids stealing an SUV to become Uber drivers. Their car is in the shop. Unfortunately, in the back seat, a woman Senator running for the office of President is sitting playing on her phone. A simple car theft has turned into a kidnapping.
The kids have enough information on the Senator to ruin her chances in the coming election. If they can get to Mexico, they can expose the Senator and negotiate for their freedom. If only someone can be motivated to help the Senator instead of covering for themselves, she might have a chance to save her legacy.
Simply put, this is a farce wrapped in political satire about good intentions, good guys who are bad at heart, bad guys with good hearts, and a political system turned on its ear. Whatever can possibly go wrong for the Senator goes wrong, and it isn't helpful to her cause that she is not well liked by those she stepped on while climbing the political ladder.
The race for the office of President just took a u-turn through Texas!
