Marilyn Meredithabout this book: Though Unresolved is #13 in the Rocky Bluff P.D. series, it is written as a stand-alone. Two seemingly unrelated murders stretch the underpaid and understaffed Rocky Bluff Police Department. Both victims had enemies, creating many persons of interest. What is different about this series is what is going on with the families of the police officers is as important as solving the crimes. As one reader wrote, "The point of this series and what F. M. Meredith has always done well, is show how the job impacts family live and vice-versa."--Cheryl Malandrinos.
Primary readers of this book are those who like to read police procedurals and particularly those who like long-running series. As for the title, though the mystery is resolved, what will happen to the guilty parties is not known by the end of the novel.
I always have to research the police procedure, since I'm not in, nor ever have been in law enforcement. Fortunately, I have many friends who are or were police officers who are most helpful.
Perhaps the most unusual thing about this book, one of the murder methods was suggested to me by a doctor friend.
