Book: The Realist by Zeph Wilkscategories: Book, Dark Poetry, Poems, Drug Abuse, Death, Poetry Slam, Loss, Ironic, Poetry
Zeph Wilksabout this book: Poetry that's sharp as a razor and darkly ironic. After years of drug abuse that led to he death of a few of my closest friends i withdrew into a agoraphobic hermitage. A few good friends encouraged me back from that darkest of places.i began reading poetry that was recommended to me by a friend and was fascinated by the the beauty and terror that can be encapsulated in a few powerful lines of verse. so i started writing as a way to face my demons and confine them to paper.
This is my first collected works and will resonate with any that have suffered loss and the dark that dwells in us all.
