Ralph B. Cooperabout this book: Maafa for African Americans represent the horrors and outcome of the Middle passage. Our varied stories and observations are the "aftermath" of our abduction from Africa, years of slavery, further years of Jim Crow apartheid and our opinions and reflections that keeps us strong and vibrant to this day...while still being endangered in this land called the United States!!???
These are the stories translated from current events, history and first hand observations, spun to communicate, uplift and commemorate!! Anecdotal, episodic, every day captures of life as experienced in the United States from back in the day to now! The revolution happens in the mind's insight! Some words are defiant, while others are searching...we need answers, but most of all WE MUST TELL OUR STORIES ... in order to effect change. The change I seek in my treatise is a world based and valued by ancestral truths, no matter where you come from!! For the benefit of all, but especially my African American sisters/brothers...so they may know and share their greatness and commonalities!
