about this book: Is feeling different from emotions or are they the same? When the heart is full of emotions, it can burst open and release the hidden contents of either fear, frustration, sadness and betrayal, or love, joy, happiness and peace. This I cannot Explain is just that collection of poems that says it all, a thriller of now and then, a passion of the soul and a treasure to cherish and relish.

Different topics in this collection are worthy of mentioning: Always Remember, Singing without a Voice, My Destiny or My Prerogatives, Crying Child, Hungry Mouths, Have you been to Scotland? Humans destroying Planet, Pelican Crossing, The god hanging on the wall arguing with the God in me, A Thing unlike a Thing, Betrayal, Wind and Wings we fly Away, Inexplicable.

The tile of this collection - This I Cannot Explain - was as a result of the different array of emotions: frustration, angst, faith, betrayal, love, peace, war and career. The author feels deep-down that these emotions are tearing him up and he struggles to free himself from any that wants to dominate the others and seeks to maintain a balance.

The author was truly inspired by a Russian, whom he met via MyLanguageExchange website. With limited English vocabularies she managed to communicate evocatively. Her style of communication is thought-provoking. Again, she's a great artist and carefully drew the cover image of this book. The cover seems inexplicable.

The author finds out that writing poetry is like telling it as it is: fiction or non-fiction. Every imagery tells a story and every word is laden with meaning.

Just like when people are happy, they sing or dance, when the author is happy, sad, or challenged, he writes. This collection is for everyone and every mood.
