Jennifer Juanabout this book: Kissing Boys, Just For The Thrill is a collection of poetry, based around my own experience of womanhood, and the experiences of the many different women I've met throughout my life.
From the breathless highs of falling in love for the first time, the disappointment of heartbreak, the devastation of discrimination and the confusion and frustration at life itself, Kissing Boys, Just For The Thrill walks so many paths through the lives of people, opening up about rarely discussed subjects, such as abuse, murder, racism and transmisogyny.
The title is a slightly reworked line from "Forever Love" by Bobby Vee, which I heard, as I was writing the title poem, and was inspired to write, not only about love, but the many aspects of life and humanity that make up the story of every woman who walks the earth.
Kissing Boys, Just For The Thrill is not just a book for women, but for everyone who wants to explore the lives of others, and discover the hidden truths of humanity.
